Can Günay is a seasoned strategy and business development professional with over 15 years of experience spanning consulting, investment, and large-scale development across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
Can began his career at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, where he spent 8 years advising leading corporations and public institutions across Turkey and the Middle East. During this period, he led and delivered over 25 projects across 8 countries, covering a diverse range of industries including Telecommunications, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Automotive, Oil & Gas, and Transportation — developing a sharp commercial acumen and a deep understanding of cross-border business dynamics.
He then transitioned into the world of large-scale investment and destination development, spending close to 8 years working directly within Public Investment Fund (PIF) entities and its landmark Giga Projects. This includes his time at AMAALA and the Red Sea Project, where he contributed to destination strategy, experiential program design and operational planning, followed by a freelance engagement supporting NEOM’s Media Hub development program. He currently serves as Director of Business Planning at Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC), another flagship PIF portfolio company.
Mr. Günay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Koç University, one of Turkey’s most prestigious academic institutions.
